“Why did i hesitated to make mango milkshake since when mango season started? ” why am i just making it now?
This is the question i have been asking myself after i made and tasted this delicious mango milkshake.
At the first sip, it jumped up to be the best mango recipe i made this season.I think:”If i had made it earlier, i could have been making it again and again”.
Thank God, mango is still in season. We can make more of it’s recipes in the mean time. I have two more mango recipes to share with you after this, though they might problably be more than two….if i can make it after my exams.
The consistency of the milkshake is quiet thicker than a smoothie. Do not be driving away by seeing i placed a straw, the milkshake is thicker and can not pass through the straw easily. So,placing a straw is just a garnish. But scooping with a spoon would be a better.
This milkshake is as simple as how a simple recipe suppose to be. Because:
•It do not require a blender unless if you intend to blend. Just whipping it with a normal whisk is a good way.
•If you don’t have ice cream in hand, milk only can provide the creaminess you would want in the milkshake. By freezing the milk to make iced milk, and substituting it for the ice cream.
Mango Milkshake Recipe
•1 large ripe mango chopped into chunks (or 1 cup mango pulp)
•½ cup milk (if using powdered milk, dissolve it in water first)
•2 tablespoon vanilla ice cream or iced milk (freeze milk and you get an iced milk)
•1 tablespoon sugar (or as needed)
•Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and start whipping with a whisk.
•It would start to melt
•Continue until it start to get smooth like this
•After getting a smooth milkshake, you’ll observe the in chewable threadlike strips in the mango been trapped by the whisk. This shows that the milkshake is very smooth
•Shake the whisk to remove the mango and you’ll see the chaff clearly. Discard it and serve your delicious milkshake while it is still creamy.
•Place a straw to decorate ( i am not using straw to drink because mango milkshake is thick enough and cannot pass through the straw ). Scoop with a spoon (like ice cream).
Note: if you wanted to use a blender not whisk, you can.
